HEC LAW GAT Registration 2026 has been rescheduled. The Law GAT test will be held on 23 January 2026. All LLB graduates who wish to seek Bar Council Registration must take the Law Graduate Assessment Test. LAW-GAT 2023 applications must be submitted online at the HEC portal by January 30, 2026. Moreover, candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by HEC can also register online at http://etc.hec.gov.pk. Passing marks on the LAW GAT test are now 50%.

HEC Law GAT Registration 2026 Application Form
The HEC Law Gat registration date for law graduates has been announced. The LLB-GAT test, like the MCAT and ECAT, is used to get into law school. Candidates can also submit the application form by visiting HEC official website. The application deadline for the postgraduate legal assessment exam is January 23, 2026. Moreover, the LAW GAT exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQ). Candidates applying through the HEC website should read the registration terms carefully.
ETC HEC GAT online registration 2023 started on 30th January. The Pakistan Bar Council has recommended that all law graduates take the LAW GAT test. The pass mark for the LAW GAT test is now 50%. The PBC has set 50% pass marks for the HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2026.
How to Online Register for HEC Law GAT Graduate Assessment Test 2026?
- To register online, go to the following address: http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- If you have any problem registering online, please email etc@hec.gov.pk or visit HEC Secretariat or HEC Regional Centers for assistance.
- There are two steps in submitting an application: completing a profile through the “My Profile” section, and applying through the “Law GAT Test” link on the menu bar on the left side of the online portal.
- Only applications submitted for the LAW-GAT Test and applications in save will be considered.
- The INCOMPLETE mode will be ignored.
- •Rs. 3000/- test fee has to be deposited online / through ATM in Account No. O 1127900567403.

- To apply, candidates need to upload paid and scanned challan form with an appropriate stamp from any HBL branch while filling out the application form on ETC online registration portal.

HEC LAW GAT Entry Test Schedule 2026
HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test 2026 is required for all applicants who have completed a law degree from any university in Pakistan. Only candidates who have passed the ETC LAW GAT 2026 written test will be eligible for registration with the Pakistan Bar Council. All law students must take the LAW GAT 2026, which will be held in February 2026.

Important Information
- To pass the Law Graduate Assessment Test, a score of 50% (Law-GAT) is required.
- Candidates will get up to three chances to pass the Law-GAT exam. HEC administers the exam three times a year.
- Applicants must meet any additional requirements set out in the PBC Rules and Regulations.

Candidates who have registered online with HEC will be able to get the Roll Number Slip one week before the test date at http://etc.hec.gov.pk. The test date, time, and venue will be communicated to registered candidates through email/SMS. The last date of the HEC Law GAT test is 30th January 2026.
