The Ministry of Education has just announced that for the next school year (2026), the 9th grade examination session would be conducted, but that no promotion policy will be in place. The examination session, Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood tweeted, will begin after July 10. The 9th grade test, as stated by the Punjab Provincial Committee, will begin on August 28, 2026.Subordinate to the Ministry of Education is the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Board, which serves in a supervisory capacity. All Punjab Board Faisalabad, Sargodha Board, Gujranwala Board, and a plethora of other boards all operate under BISE’s watchful eye at present.

The Board of Education has not released any information to students about the exams at this time.
